This is a lyric video, but I always have my focus – the narrative. That’s what I dig. I put narrative even in music lyrics videos. All starts with the song and the lyrics, paying attention to the theme, tempo and interesting audio moments.

The research:
As it was the band’s first single, I asked the guys to send me a folder of references for inspiration, a mood board.

The main inspiration was the band’s emblem.
###
There was no point in storyboards.
But here are the narrative parts without text and in order.
The main idea was to show that we’re inside some sort of a meat grinder.
Metaphors, metaphors, metaphors.

Everything is gathered and animated in After Effects.

In the very end after all the rendering, we have the final music video.
