The idea

A music video about becoming unstuck from time. The film enters a loop made of white cubes holding fragments of history, meets the band through four black cubes, and escapes into open space.

Turn time into architecture.

Moments become cubes arranged through space. Each white cube reveals a fragment of history, while four black cubes hold the individual band members.

Recover a lost script visually.

Although the original written notes disappeared, the surviving storyboards preserve the route into the loop, through its archival imagery, and back outside it.

Collage history into motion.

Photographs, video references, astronomy, technology, eyes, hands, and proof-of-concept tests were layered and animated in After Effects.

01 / Process log

Reconstructing lost notes

The band wanted time loops, space, energetic movement, Kurt Vonnegut-like ideas, and archival technology. Some original notes and the internal script were lost, but the surviving visual material keeps the idea legible.

02 / Process log

Time becomes architecture

The camera enters a loop made from white cubes. Each cube contains a fragment of history, while four black cubes reveal the four band members. The journey eventually breaks outside the loop. Four storyboard sheets became the strongest surviving record of that route and secured band approval.

03 / Process log

Collaging history into motion

Production gathered photographs, video, astronomy, technological archives, cube tests, hands, eyes, and proof-of-concept images. Those fragments were layered in After Effects, moving from storyboard and scene captures into the final film.
